The Center for Innovation Entrepreneurship and Business Leadership in Arab Amman Conducts an Advanced Training Workshop Titled

Khaberni  - Within the framework of the Arab Amman University's efforts to enhance the culture of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship among its students, and to develop their entrepreneurial skills in line with the requirements of sustainable development and the job market, the university's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship held an advanced training workshop titled "Impact by Design: Path to Sustainable Business", presented by Dr. Samer Ayasra, the director of the center. The workshop targeted students with entrepreneurial ideas, startups, and incubated companies at the center, aiming to introduce them to the concept of social and environmental impact and how to integrate it into their business models, measure it, manage it, and communicate about it in a practical and simplified way. This supports the sustainability of their projects, enhances credibility and trust with partners and clients, and opens doors to attracting investment and enabling participants to develop sustainable entrepreneurial projects that contribute to creating a positive impact on society and the environment, enhancing their capabilities in business management according to the concepts of social innovation and sustainability.

The workshop included a set of key topics covering: designing impactful businesses, identifying social and environmental opportunities, developing sustainable business models, and strategies for funding and effective management of entrepreneurial projects. It also featured practical and interactive sessions to enhance the participants' ability to transform their ideas into viable and impactful projects. A group of interested university students participated in the workshop in the field of sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship, where they exchanged expertise and knowledge and applied practical tools and techniques to help design projects that balance commercial success and social impact.

In this regard, Dr. Ayasra emphasized that this workshop is part of the continuous efforts of the center to enhance an entrepreneurial environment conducive to innovation within the university, and to support students and entrepreneurs of startups with practical skills and innovative ideas that enable them to face market challenges and achieve sustainable development. He also stressed the importance of integrating sustainability concepts at different stages of developing entrepreneurial projects to ensure their continuity and enhance their economic and societal impact. The workshop is part of a series of programs and initiatives implemented by the center to enable students and entrepreneurs to acquire the knowledge and skills required to develop innovative, sustainable entrepreneurial projects that contribute to achieving a positive social and economic impact in the long term. The center works through its training programs and the incubation environment it provides to support entrepreneurial ideas and transform them into viable projects, enhancing the university's role in spreading the culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and contributing to preparing a generation of entrepreneurs capable of participating in economic and societal development.
