Khaberni - The Arab Bank organized, in collaboration with the Charity Clothing Bank - the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, several events as part of the "Eid Clothing" program in the capital Amman, and the governorates of Zarqa and Irbid as part of the yearly support the bank provides for the Orphan’s Day program.
The events included organizing three activities in which about 350 orphaned children participated; during these activities, Eid clothes were distributed to them to welcome Eid al-Fitr with joy and delight. The activity in Amman also included organizing a Ramadan Iftar for the children alongside a series of entertainment features and interactive activities that added an atmosphere of joy and pleasure among the participating children. Volunteers from the Arab Bank participated in the various activities held in Amman, Zarqa, and Irbid, contributing to creating a positive atmosphere that enhanced the spirits of joy and social connection among the children.
This program is part of ongoing cooperation between the Arab Bank and the Charity Clothing Bank, with the Arab Bank being the strategic supporter of the Orphan's Day program for more than eleven years, having provided Eid clothing to over 12,000 orphaned children across various governorates of the Kingdom over the past years.
It is noteworthy that the Charity Clothing Bank, launched by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization in 2013, aims to provide dignified clothing to underprivileged families throughout the kingdom. Since its establishment, it has served over 2,011,814 beneficiaries and distributed more than 9,429,469 pieces of clothing through its programs and initiatives targeting the families benefiting from the National Aid Fund and charitable associations, via clothing showrooms in Amman and Karak, in addition to the various field activities and initiatives it carries out across the provinces.
