Khaberni - The head of the fuel stations union, Nahar Al-Sa'eedat, confirmed that a decision has been issued to prohibit the sale of gasoline in gallons, and to keep it to vehicle refueling, pointing out that storing oil derivatives is legally prohibited, and that storing by citizens in non-designated places is unsafe behavior and poses a danger.
He added in statements to Hayat FM radio: “There is no need for what some citizens do by storing oil derivatives, saying that the strategic reserve is secure and there are ships arriving in Jordan continuously.”
He said that the energy system in Jordan is among the best globally.
He mentioned that gas is abundantly available, and citizens who wish to can refill their own gas cylinders; however, the stock is secure and gas is available, and an increase in the price of gas cylinders is not expected.
