Khaberni - Recent meteorological analyses indicate serious developments in the Strait of Hormuz, where the region is expected to be affected by a series of exceptional weather conditions, in the form of strong thunderstorms that are likely to stop maritime traffic in the strait due to strong winds and high waves, starting from Monday until next Sunday.
The meteorological forecasts issued by Arab Weather indicate the meeting of air masses with different characteristics in the sky over the strait, leading to the formation of giant cumulonimbus clouds with thunderstorms, heavy rain, and hail showers, as well as an increased probability of tornadoes and waterspouts.
These weather fluctuations will affect the Gulf states overlooking the strait, such as the UAE, Oman, and Iran, where these countries are expected to experience heavy rains and strong winds. Therefore, sailors and companies are advised to take the highest levels of caution and care to avoid risks in the coming days.
