Iran threatens to target two Jordanian power stations and nine Arab ones

Khaberni -   The Iranian media published pictures of 11 important facilities for energy production and water desalination in the Gulf Arab countries and Jordan, following threats by US President Donald Trump to target energy facilities inside Iran.

A report by the semi-official Iranian news agency “Fars” on Monday stated that these facilities could be targeted in the event of an attack on Iran's energy infrastructure.

This list of facilities described as "sensitive infrastructure" in the region includes: Al-Zour power and desalination station in Kuwait, Barakah nuclear power station and Al-Taweelah desalination plant in UAE, and Ras Al-Khair power and desalination station and Shaiba station in Saudi Arabia.

It also included Al-Aqaba and Samra thermal stations in Jordan, Al-Dur station in Bahrain, in addition to Umm Al-Houl, Ras Laffan, and Ras Girtas stations in Qatar.

On Sunday, Trump threatened to "destroy Iran," affirming that the warning he issued regarding targeting Iranian energy facilities "will have very good results," as part of the war being waged by Washington and Israel against Iran.

In response, Iran announced that any attack on its electricity networks will be met with a response targeting energy facilities in the region.

Since February 28, Israel and the United States have been waging an attack on Iran that has resulted in the deaths of hundreds, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and security officials, widespread destruction, and Tehran's response by launching rockets and drones towards Israel.

Iran also conducts attacks on what it claims to be bases and American interests in Arab countries, but some have resulted in deaths, injuries, and damage to civilian properties, which have been condemned by the targeted countries, demanding an end to the attacks.
