Oil Rises after Threats Exchanged between Washington and Tehran Targeting Energy Facilities

Khaberni - Oil prices rose after reciprocal threats from U.S. President Donald Trump and Iran to launch attacks on energy facilities in the Middle East, marking an escalation in the war's intensity.

Brent crude futures increased by 1.01 dollars, reaching 113.20 dollars per barrel by 22:04 GMT, after settling on Friday at their highest level since July 2022.

The price of West Texas Intermediate crude was 98.85 dollars per barrel, up 62 cents, or 0.63 percent, continuing its gains which amounted to 2.27 percent in the previous session.
