Khaberni - Alexandria province in northern Egypt witnessed a shocking incident after a young man (20 years old) killed his mother and 5 of his siblings inside the family home in the Bashaer al-Khair area.
Security forces arrested the accused young man, and preliminary investigations revealed that the victims are 3 males and 2 females, all of whom were under the age of 18, while the crime occurred under mysterious circumstances.
Security sources reported that the accused tried to end his life by jumping from the top of the building, but the locals managed to prevent him and control him before handing him over to the police.
Following a report from the locals, security forces immediately moved to the location of the report, and the accused was taken to the police station, where a report was filed regarding the incident, while the competent investigative authorities are continuing their work to uncover the circumstances and motives behind the accident.
