Khaberni - The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities called on Saturday for all those wishing to subscribe to the "Our Jordan is Paradise" program to ensure that the travel agency they deal with is officially licensed and registered in the approved list of offices participating in the program.
The ministry confirmed in a post on the "Our Jordan is Paradise" Facebook page the importance of not dealing with individuals or intermediaries, and the necessity of completing booking and registration procedures directly through the approved travel offices only, in order to preserve the rights of participants and ensure the quality of services provided.
The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Imad Hajazeen had previously stated to "Al-Mamlaka" that the ministry would reactivate the "Our Jordan is Paradise" program on the first days of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, and it will include a special axis for the city of Petra and other tourist areas.
It also emphasized the necessity to verify the official and announced price list through the "Our Jordan is Paradise" application, to ensure transparency and avoid any inaccuracies or oversteps.
The licensed offices within the program can be found on the program’s website.
The ministry noted that the program includes a new trail (the new Ma'an trail).
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and the Jordan Tourism Board, launched a national campaign to enhance the cleanliness of tourist and archaeological sites across the Kingdom, and to instill community awareness of the importance of preserving them as an integral part of the national identity and a fundamental basis for the tourism sector.
The campaign aims to expand community participation by involving tourist guides and volunteers in initiatives implemented within the "Our Jordan is Paradise" program, along with cooperation with media and content creators to document these efforts and broadcast them widely.
