Khaberni - The Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority has called on citizens and visitors to exercise extreme caution and avoid valleys and areas where floods accumulate during the impact of the weather depression, in order to ensure their safety.
The Authority confirmed in a statement today, Saturday, the importance of adhering to the guidelines issued by the relevant authorities, and not to approach low-lying areas and flood paths, especially in light of predictions of heavy rainfall during some periods.
The authority called on citizens and visitors to report any observations or emergency cases through communication with its emergency rooms, which operate around the clock to monitor the weather situation and deal with any new developments.
