Disappearance of the New Iranian Leader Raises Suspicions

Khaberni - Doubts about the health status and actual role of the new Iranian leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, have increased after he missed public appearances during the Nowruz celebration and settled for a written message.

Global intelligence agencies, led by the CIA, closely monitored whether Khamenei would uphold his father's tradition of delivering a speech for the New Year. However, the occasion passing without any visual appearance, even through a prerecorded video, deepened the suspicions regarding his health status and his real position in managing the war, according to the American news site "Axios".

This ambiguity comes amid reports that Israel has placed Khamenei at the top of its target list following the death of his father. It was reported by U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that Mojtaba Khamenei "was injured and might have been disfigured" during the strike that killed his father.

Despite three weeks passing without any public appearance, American and Israeli estimates indicate that he is still alive. These estimations are based on attempts by Iranian officials to arrange direct meetings with him, which have failed for security reasons.
