Khaberni - Searchlight Pictures surprised its audience in an unexpected way by pumping artificial blood from ceiling-mounted sprayers onto the heads of the spectators in the middle of a terrifying stabbing scene, during a special screening of the second part of the American horror movie "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come," weeks before its official release in April.
The video clip quickly spread on the "X" platform, revealing the moment of collective shock when the red fluids suddenly poured onto the seats, while the audience was expecting nothing more than a usual visual screening.
The management made sure to distribute plastic coats to the attendees before the show started, a clever hint that what was coming would go beyond the screen, but this subtle warning did not lessen the screams of terror at the time of the surprise.
The recorded footage showed a scene where the film's protagonist "Grace" is in a precarious situation with a man holding a knife, and as he is about to stab, the guns burst with artificial blood from all directions, completely soaking the attendees, while what follows on the screen remains confidential until the official release.
Opinions were divided between those who outright rejected such experiments and those who expressed envy that they were not present.
