German Newspaper Refutes Netanyahus Claims About the Destruction of the Iranian Army

Khaberni  - Die Zeit newspaper in Germany states that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu alleges that the Iranian army has been defeated, but without presenting any evidence to back up his claims.

It added: "According to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Iran can no longer enrich uranium due to Israeli and American attacks. According to his claims, the Iranian regime is no longer capable of producing ballistic missiles. <…> But the head of the Israeli government has not provided any evidence to prove his claims."

The newspaper also noted that the Israeli Prime Minister, after announcing the complete defeat of the Iranian army, immediately started talking about plans for new strikes on that country’s territory.

The newspaper continued in its article: "Netanyahu claims that the Iranian air defenses are currently ineffective, the Iranian fleet lies at the bottom of the sea, and the air force is nearly destroyed. Nonetheless, according to the Israeli Prime Minister, the attacks on Iran will continue as long as necessary."

On February 28, the United States and Israel began bombing targets in Iran, including Tehran, resulting in damage and civilian casualties. Iran, in turn, has launched retaliatory strikes on Israeli territory, as well as targeting American military sites in the Middle East.
