This occurred during the reception on Friday by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the Turkish Foreign Minister.
The President of the UAE and the Turkish Minister exchanged Eid al-Fitr greetings, praying to God Almighty to return it to both countries and their peoples with goodness and blessing, and to the whole world with security and peace, as reported by the official Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Fidan conveyed to the President of the UAE the greetings of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wishes for continued prosperity to the UAE, while Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed his greetings to the Turkish President and his wishes for further progress for Turkey.
The Turkish Minister reiterated during the meeting his country's condemnation of the Iranian terrorist attacks targeting the UAE and countries in the region for violating sovereignty and international laws, and posing a threat to regional stability.
Furthermore, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Fidan discussed the serious implications of the military escalation in the region on both regional and international security and stability, emphasizing the necessity to halt the escalation and prioritize dialogue and diplomatic solutions to spare the region further tensions and crises.
