Khaberni - On Friday morning, Jordanians performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer in various mosques across the provinces.
During the Eid al-Fitr prayer sermon, the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Mohammad Al-Khalaileh, stated that the Hashemite custodianship will continue to be present and care for the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in all its aspects.
Al-Khalaileh added: "We were pained by the closure of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during these blessed days, under the pretext of what is happening in the world today."
The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Ahmad Al-Hasanat, announced that Friday is the first day of the month of Shawwal for the year 1447 AH / 2026, and the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
