Rain and Warnings This is What Awaits the Eid Weather in Jordan

Khaberni - The Kingdom remains on Friday (the first day of Eid al-Fitr) under the influence of a low-pressure system that brings cold and rainy weather at intervals, with rain falling in the north and central parts of the Kingdom, which may be heavy at times accompanied by thunder and hail, with light showers extending to parts of the eastern and southwestern regions, and precipitation temporarily weakening during the day hours to return gradually at night.
The effects of the low-pressure continue on Saturday, with rain covering most areas of the Kingdom including Aqaba and the Dead Sea, with expectations of heavy rains at times especially in the north and center, accompanied by thunder and hail, in addition to the formation of fog in several areas.
As for Sunday, a slight decrease in temperatures occurs while the weather remains cold and partly to fully cloudy, with continued chances of rain in the north and central parts of the Kingdom, with Aqaba city expected to experience potentially heavy showers in the morning.
On Monday, temperatures slightly rise while the weather stays relatively cold and partly cloudy, with chances of light showers in scattered areas.

 Important warnings during the period:
The risk of flash floods, especially in the north and central parts of the Kingdom and parts of the southwestern and Aqaba areas.
The risk of thunderstorms and hail.
Reduced horizontal visibility due to fog and low clouds, especially over highlands.
The risk of slipping on roads during rainfall.
The activity of wind that raises dust in desert areas.

 As the Meteorological Department issues this bulletin, it extends the highest congratulatory and blessing messages on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, praying to God to bring it back to all with goodness, safety, and blessings, wishing everyone a happy year.
