Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II received on Thursday a phone call from the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, to discuss the serious developments in the region.
His Majesty emphasized the necessity to stop the Iranian aggressions against Jordan and the region's countries, and to rely on diplomacy to resolve the conflict and achieve a comprehensive calm that restores stability to the region.
His Majesty also expressed his condolences to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the Pakistani victims of the Iranian attacks on Arab countries.
His Majesty emphasized the need to not exploit the conflict as a pretext to impose a new reality in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza.
