Khaberni - Dr. Walid Hamza Al-Halabi has been appointed as the head of the specialty of kidney diseases and transplantation, a step that reflects the confidence in national competencies and his scientific and practical experience in this field.
Al-Halabi has a distinguished professional record, having managed the new Princess Basma Educational Hospital, one of the most prominent medical institutions in the kingdom, and holds the position of chairman of the scientific committee at the Jordanian Association for Kidney Diseases and Transplantation, and the representative of the Mediterranean basin in the Middle East Society for Organ Transplantation.
It is expected that Al-Halabi, in his new position, will contribute to the development of kidney diseases and transplantation services and enhance the level of healthcare in this vital specialty.
