Khaberni - The administrative governors, under the direct supervision of the Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya, made intensive efforts during the holy month of Ramadan, in collaboration and coordination with security, municipal, and related institutions.
Al-Faraya directed the administrative governors to be ready for the holy month, and to plan and implement comprehensive plans and procedures aimed at enhancing security, public order, adherence to public safety instructions, and the sanctity of the holy month, and combating negative phenomena that may disrupt it.
In cooperation and coordination with security, municipal, and related institutions, the administrative governors conducted about 854 public safety committee tours on various shops, facilities, and public places to monitor their compliance with health and safety standards. This resulted in approximately 2843 actions taken according to related laws and regulations.
The administrative governors also paid special attention to the charitable side, coordinating with the relevant authorities to hold 560 Ramadan charitable activities, and participated in supervising 208 Hashemite scientific councils, seminars, and religious events. They also oversaw the implementation of 352 campaigns to distribute aid and charitable parcels to those deserving in accordance with the standards approved in the social protection methodologies of the concerned entities.
During the holy month, in various regions of the kingdom, the administrative governors made sure to participate in cultural and sporting events by sponsoring 203 activities, believing in the necessity of fostering cultural work and sports activity generally, especially during religious seasons.
It is noteworthy that these efforts were made during the holy month of Ramadan, alongside various duties and tasks assigned to them in leadership, security, administrative, developmental, social, and other areas related to the administrative governor, carried out by the staff of the Ministry of the Interior at the central and in various administrative units spread across all regions of the kingdom, which include 12 governorates, 55 directorates of districts, and 36 directorates of sub-districts.
The Ministry of Interior affirmed its deep commitment and steady approach to taking measures and procedures and making all necessary efforts to enhance security, public order, and maintain the tranquility and stability of society, the safety of citizens, and their general well-being, and to supervise the organization of various events and activities and care for religious and national occasions, throughout the year.
