With this win, Barcelona snatched the qualifying ticket to the quarterfinals by outscoring the aggregate 8 - 3, following a draw of 1 - 1 in the first leg at St. James' Park in England last week.
Barcelona found significant difficulty against their opponents in the first half of the match, which took place at the "Camp Nou" stadium, advancing twice in the score with goals by Raphinha and Marc Bernal in the 18th minute, while the English team responded with goals by Anthony Elanga in the 15th and 28th minutes.
The Catalan team ended the first half ahead with a goal scored by Lamine Yamal from a penalty in the 7th minute of extra time.
In the second half, the Spanish giant finished their opponent with four goals, scored by Fermín López and Robert Lewandowski "a double" and Raphinha in the minutes 51, 56, 61, and 72.
