Khaberni - The Minister of Government Communication and official spokesperson, Mohammad Al-Momani, stated that Jordan will not become a battlefield for any party, reasserting that no one will be allowed to violate the Jordanian state's sovereignty, either in its skies or land.
Al-Momani added to "Al-Mamlaka" that the government has been handling the crisis from the start on various fronts—military, security, and economic—indicating that the main objective is to alleviate the crisis's effects on Jordan.
He explained that this crisis demonstrates the strength of the Jordanian state and its institutions in facing challenges, and that the main goal has been to minimize the impact of this regional crisis on the kingdom and sustain life as much as possible.
Al-Momani affirmed that the Jordanian economy and institutions have proven to possess emergency plans and multiple alternatives to deal with various challenges arising from developments in the region.
Al-Momani pointed out that Jordan lives in a turbulent region and there have been ongoing challenges for many years, emphasizing that Jordan's position at the "eye of the storm" requires readiness and wise leadership, and that the kingdom's stance is always wise and sensible.
Al-Momani condemned the Iranian assaults on the Gulf and on Jordan, clarifying that the government is working to counter anything that might affect Jordanian national security.
