Khaberni - Colonel Amer Al-Sartawi, the Director of Media at the Public Security Directorate, mourned the security martyrs who ascended while performing their duty, expressing his deep sorrow for this tragedy.
Al-Sartawi said, in a post on his Facebook page, that one of the hardest moments is when a person faces the news of his colleagues' martyrdom, as he tries to absorb the loss and deny what he hears, before being confronted with the painful truth.
He added that the martyrs went to their Lord after having faithfully performed their sacred duty, joining their companions who had preceded them on the same path, affirming that they did not change their promise and remained faithful to the oath they took.
He mentioned that eulogy words remain harsh no matter how they are formulated, but the consolation lies in their sacrifices which they made in defense of the homeland, recalling their colleagues who had preceded them in the fields of honor, including the martyr Saied Al-Maaytah and his companions.
Al-Sartawi concluded his eulogy with a prayer for the martyrs, asking God to envelop them in His vast mercy, and to grant their families patience and solace, saying: “Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return”.
