Khaberni - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Wednesday that his country's strikes near urban areas in the Gulf states were due to the movement of American forces from military bases to hotels within the cities.
The Minister added, "Wherever American forces gathered, and wherever there were facilities belonging to them, they were targeted. Some of these places were likely close to residential areas."
Araghchi acknowledged that the regional countries are "displeased and their peoples have been harmed or disturbed" by the Iranian strikes, but he added that the full responsibility lies with the United States for starting the war on February 28.
