Iran Execution of a Spy for Israel Who Transmitted Sensitive Information During the War

Khaberni - The Iranian authorities executed the spy Kourosh Keyvani, who was recruited by the Israeli Mossad to gather information and photos of sensitive sites in Iran.
The story of recruitment began in 2023 when Keyvani sent his personal data via a link for group trips, which allowed the Israeli intelligence agency in Sweden to spot him.
He was initially contacted by a Mossad officer named "Ben," who is fluent in Persian, who gradually built a relationship of trust with him online, exploiting his financial situation, financial problems, and family life, ultimately coming to know the schedules of his son's lessons and his free time.

The money he received

After gathering sufficient information, Keyvani was invited to a personal meeting in Berlin, where he was paid 1,000 euros in addition to covering his travel expenses and accommodation. Subsequently, he received various amounts through intermittent financial transactions, and he was found with 30,000 euros in cash, along with sophisticated equipment and vehicles when he was arrested.

The information he leaked

Keyvani provided Mossad officers with precise photos and information about the sensitive locations within the country, posing a threat to national security. He was arrested on June 16 - the fourth day of the war that lasted 12 days last year - inside a villa in Savojbolagh, in possession of sophisticated spying devices and satellite communication equipment, before the legal proceedings were completed and he was executed after the Supreme Court ratified the sentence.
