Temperatures continue to rise, becoming about 5-7 degrees Celsius higher than average, and the weather is mostly cloudy to partly cloudy with medium and high clouds. Gradually, there is a chance for scattered rain showers in the south of the kingdom, which may extend to random areas in the north and center, and the winds will be moderate to brisk southeasterly, possibly stirring up dust and sand in some areas.
According to the latest data through computer simulation in Arab weather, it is expected during the night hours of Wednesday/Thursday and dawn of Thursday that cold air will deepen in the high atmospheric layers and converge with an extension of the Red Sea depression, whereby cloud amounts increase and rain showers occur in several regions of the kingdom including the southern regions such as the Gulf and the city of Aqaba, Wadi Rum, Wadi Dissa area, nearby areas, the mountains of Sharah, Wadi Musa, the southern Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Wadi Araba, and the roads leading to them and desert areas including the city of Ma'an, Al Jafr, reaching up to the boundary area of Mudawwara and the road leading to it.
These showers can be heavy at times and accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning strikes and possibly hail showers in some areas, and these thunder showers are accompanied by strong gusts of wind causing temporary dust storms in some desert areas, and an increase in wave height and turbulence in the Gulf of Aqaba.
