Khaberni - As the war between Iran on one side and Israel and America on the other enters its 17th day, the Israeli army announced that it has launched a "wide-scale wave of raids" on the capital Tehran, in addition to targeting Hezbollah sites in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
The army stated in a post on the Telegram app early Tuesday morning, "We have begun launching a wide-scale wave of raids against the infrastructure of the Iranian regime in various parts of Tehran", adding that it started an additional wave of strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut.
Meanwhile, a series of violent explosions shook Tehran and Karaj, and loud, multiple explosions were heard in various areas of Tehran and the city of Karaj, including the neighborhoods of Niavaran, Ekhtiarieh, Narmak, Tehranpars, Gheytarieh, Seyed Khandan, and Masoudieh, as well as areas in the south of the capital.

The sounds of the explosions began around 01:30 AM local time and continued until about 03:00 AM, coinciding with intense fighter jet activity in the skies of the region, according to local media reports.

The Basij base in northern Tehran in the Kamranieh area was struck by more than 7 hits.
Sounds of fighter jets were also heard in northern Iran, including Noshahr, Chalus, and the city of Metlyg on the Caspian Sea coast.
3 areas in Beirut

In the southern suburbs of Beirut, Israel conducted air raids on three areas, according to official media reports, where one of the raids targeted a residential building.

The Israeli warplanes targeted the areas of Kaifan and Haret Hreik.
Another raid hit a residential apartment on the upper floors of a building located in the area of Doha Aramoun.

Several towns in southern Lebanon were also subjected to a series of air raids and artillery bombardment.

These field developments came after US President Donald Trump confirmed last night that his country had struck more than 7000 targets across Iran and sunk more than 100 ships.

The US President also reiterated yesterday talks about Tehran's attempt to negotiate an end to the war, but he hinted that he would not accept that currently.

Conversely, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denied any contact with the Trump administration.

In Lebanon, the Israeli army, yesterday, announced that it had begun a "limited ground operation" in southern Lebanon as part of its war with Hezbollah, which has forced more than a million people to flee, according to the Lebanese authorities.

Since the outbreak of war on February 28th between Iran, America, and Israel, it has expanded to include Lebanon and Iraq where armed factions loyal to Tehran are active.

Meanwhile, the Iranian side launched hundreds of missiles and drones towards the Gulf countries, allegedly targeting American military sites and bases.
