Khaberni - The Majnoon oil field in southern Iraq was subjected to an attack by two drones today, Monday, in Basra province in the south of the country.
According to the Basra province police command, two explosive-laden drones targeted the Majnoon oil field located east of Basra province, in the south of the country, confirming that "the first drone targeted the communication tower in the field, while the second drone targeted the office of an American company inside the oil facility".
The Majnoon oil field is one of the most important oil fields in Iraq, contributing significantly to increasing Iraq's oil production capacity, with production reaching hundreds of thousands of barrels per day.
