Khaberni - The Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, Fatih Birol, said on Monday that the member countries in the agency might withdraw more oil reserves from their stockpile later "as needed," noting that they still have more than 1.4 billion barrels in their stock despite already approving the largest withdrawal operation in history.
Birol added in a recorded statement, "Despite the withdrawal of this massive amount, we still have plenty of stock. Once the current withdrawal process from the stocks is complete, the reserves of the International Energy Agency for the member countries have only shrunk by about 20%."
