Khaberni - Al-Ahliyya Amman University concluded the Ramadan humanitarian iftar and clothing events for orphans on the evening of Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Arena Sports and Cultural Complex, in the presence of Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, the University President, Professor Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyat, Dean of Student Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Activities and Community Service, Professor Dr. Khaldoun Hamdan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Noor Al-Dabbas, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, and Mr. Nader Sweidan, Manager of the Arena Complex, along with a number of members from both the academic and administrative bodies.
The initiative was organized over three days by the Supreme Committee for Activities and Community Service in collaboration with the Dean of Student Affairs, where breakfast meals and Eid clothing were provided to more than 600 orphaned children from various regions of Al Balqa Governorate, in a step aimed at bringing joy and happiness to the children's hearts during the holy month of Ramadan.
The events took place in collaboration with the Union of Charitable Associations / Al Balqa and SOS Children’s Villages, and the King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Charity in Al Balqa Governorate, to enhance the values of solidarity and cooperation in serving this precious segment of the community.
Through these initiatives, Al-Ahliyya Amman University reaffirmed its ongoing support for humanitarian work and serving the local community, and embedding the values of solidarity and compassion that are embodied by the holy month of Ramadan, reflecting its educational and humanitarian mission in serving the society.
