Khaberni - The Dubai Government Media Office announced that the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has decided to temporarily suspend flights at Dubai International Airport as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
The Media Office clarified: "We advise travelers to get in touch with their airlines to stay updated on their flight status. Any additional updates will be announced as soon as they are available.".
Earlier, the Media Office announced the "success of the civil defense teams in controlling a fire that resulted from damage to one of the fuel tanks in the vicinity of the airport, with no injuries reported".
Meanwhile, Emirates Airlines announced the suspension of all flights to and from Dubai temporarily until further notice, a step that is part of precautionary measures to ensure the safety of passengers and aircrew.
