Acknowledging the difficulty of overthrowing the regime Israel prepares for a long war with Iran

Khaberni - Israeli media disclosed that Washington and Tel Aviv are planning major additional steps inside Iran that could influence the course of the war, despite the absence of any signs of the Iranian regime’s collapse despite the strength of the strikes it has faced.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation quoted Israeli sources stating that there are still potential targets for attack in Iran before declaring the end of military action, but it called for a reassessment of wartime goals there.

The Israeli sources acknowledged the difficulty of mobilizing the Iranian people to take to the streets in large numbers, which represents one of the challenges facing the American and Israeli leadership.

In the meantime, the Israeli military spokesperson stated, "We are not planning to overthrow the Iranian regime, but we are working to create the conditions for the Iranian people to achieve that."

Furthermore, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation confirmed that the Director-General of the Ministry of Defense will start a visit to Washington tonight, to discuss signing necessary purchase agreements to sustain the battle and deepen strategic cooperation amid ongoing discussions about shortages in ammunition and interceptor missiles.

A long battle
In the same context, Channel 12 Israeli reported sources in the military stating that Tel Aviv is preparing for a long battle with Iran in cooperation with the United States.

Channel 13 conveyed from political and military sources that the regime in Iran is not showing signs of collapse but has started to recover in recent days, confirming doubts about the possibility of the regime falling by the end of the war.

The channel added that both the military and political leadership in Israel are convinced that the country is facing a prolonged campaign on two fronts simultaneously.

Israeli assessments indicated that the intense confrontation with Iran could continue for at least a few more weeks, while the war with Hezbollah could last months.

Since February 28th, Israel and the United States have been launching attacks on Iran, resulting in the deaths and injuries of hundreds, including the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the Defense Minister, the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, and other military leaders.

Tehran responds by launching rockets and drones towards Israel, in addition to targeting what it describes as military bases and American interests in the region.
