Khaberni - Ali Mohammad Naeini, spokesperson for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, said today, Sunday, that most of the missiles Iran currently launches were produced about a decade ago, noting that many of the missiles manufactured after the 12-day war have not yet been used.
He added in statements carried by Fars News Agency that if US President Donald Trump claims to have destroyed the Iranian Navy, "let him dare to bring his ships into the Gulf area."
The 12-day war refers to the Israeli military attack on Iran that began from June 13 to 24, 2025, to which Iran responded at the time with widespread attacks on Israel.
The Revolutionary Guard announced in its statement No. 40 that its forces launched, on Sunday, a barrage of ballistic missiles "accurate in hit" and cruise missiles with new warheads and destructive drones at targets in the region.
According to the statement, the Revolutionary Guard targeted in phases "command and control centers, air traffic control and observation towers, air defense facilities, logistics support warehouses, and equipment at U.S. bases at Al Dhafra, the Al Adiri helicopter base, Ali Al Salem Air Base, and Sheikh Isa Air Base."
The Revolutionary Guard also announced that it targeted Israel for the first time today, Sunday, with "Sejjil" missiles described as strategic.
It stated in the announcement that it "successfully executed attacks on the Israeli aerial operations command centers and decision-making centers, effective infrastructure in the military and defense industries, and military troop gathering points, using strategic Sejjil missiles."
Since February 28 of last year, Israel and the United States have been attacking Iran, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of people, including the former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and security officials. Tehran responds by launching missiles and drones toward Israel and carries out attacks on what it states are American bases and interests in Arab countries.
