Ammon University College of Applied Sciences Hosts Ramadan Iftar for Arab and Foreign Students

Khaberni - Attended by the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Emad Hijazin, and the General Director of the Tourism Promotion Authority Ramzi Maaytah, and under the patronage of the General Director of the Jordanian Company for Tourism and Hotel Education, Dr. Marwan Maaytah, and the Dean of the College Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Kurdi, along with several members of the faculty and administrative staff, Ammon University College of Applied Sciences held a Ramadan Iftar for Arab and foreign students studying at the college, at the college's hotel.

During the event, Dr. Maaytah welcomed the international students and guests, emphasizing the importance of such gatherings in fostering a spirit of communication and closeness among students from various nationalities, and providing them with an opportunity to learn about the Jordanian culture and community values, especially in the atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadan which embodies the meanings of compassion and tolerance.

For his part, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Kurdi, reiterated the college’s commitment to providing an exceptional educational and training environment that is based on openness and cultural diversity, and contributes to preparing qualified personnel in the fields of tourism, hotel management, and hospitality.

Dr. Al-Kurdi also mentioned that the college pays special attention to international students, constantly striving to provide them with an advanced educational environment, reflecting Jordan's distinguished reputation as a regional center for higher education and tourism training, and enhancing the kingdom's position in attracting Arab and foreign students and promoting educational tourism.
