Khaberni - Orange Jordan has launched the "Private Sector Linkage and Support for Startups /Private Sector Access to Support Startups" (PASS) program, as part of the "Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment" project implemented by (GIZ) in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), and co-funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU).
The program, running until October 2026, aims to support 130 startups, focusing on enhancing the productivity and sales of these startups through targeted skill development, specialized training sessions, and mentoring meetings with experts and business leaders. The project strongly focuses on practical support geared towards the job market and responding to the real requirements of startups at various stages of growth and business development.
The PASS program supports startups in developing capabilities in a structured manner and facilitates their linkage with various private sector entities, enabling them to enter value chains and enhance their market position. By improving the readiness of startups to interact with partners, suppliers, and potential customers, the program contributes to the development of sustainable business models, enhancing competiveness, and achieving long-term growth within local market environments.
This cooperation is part of Orange Jordan's role as the leading and responsible digital provider and its commitment to supporting economic development and empowering local communities, aligning with its strategy to make a positive impact on society and embodying its approach to fulfilling promises through pioneering initiatives and programs that offer real opportunities for youth to develop and build a better future.
Orange Jordan confirmed that the launch of this program reflects its vision in stimulating an integrated entrepreneurial environment across different governorates of the kingdom, and enabling small and emerging projects to access private sector partners, which contributes to enhancing the local economy and building a more sustainable and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Private Sector Linkage and Support for Startups program (PASS) is implemented in partnership with Orange Jordan, through the Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment (E4DE) project implemented by (GIZ) and in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), co-funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU).
