Microsoft launches a smart assistant that monitors your health and analyzes your medical data

Khaberni - Microsoft announced the new Copilot Health service that operates with artificial intelligence to facilitate users in monitoring their health and collecting their medical records.

The new smart assistant offers users a comprehensive experience that encompasses everything related to health, starting from medical records and analysis results, up to data incoming from wearable devices such as Oura smart rings and Fitbit fitness tracking bands.

Copilot Health relies on comprehensive analysis of the user's health data to provide personalized recommendations and allows patients to prepare a list of questions that they can ask their doctor before an appointment. The tool can utilize data from more than 50,000 healthcare institutions, along with information from more than 50 types of wearable smart devices such as watches, rings, and bracelets.

To ensure privacy, Copilot Health conversations are separated from regular Copilot assistant conversations and are fully encrypted. Microsoft emphasized that this service is not intended to replace a doctor, and does not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe treatments.

It is worth mentioning that OpenAI had previously launched a similar health service called ChatGPT Health, which is a special section within ChatGPT dedicated to medical topics. This section allows users to interact with the chatbot as if it were a specialized doctor, without the risk of receiving harmful advice.
