UAE secures return of 6000 citizens and their companions to the country

Khaberni - The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management announced the successful implementation of approved evacuation plans for the country's citizens located in several countries, securing the safe and secure return of about 6000 citizens and their companions to their homeland through various land and air ports, in coordination with the relevant national authorities.

This operation is part of the UAE's integrated national system, which is based on flexibility, constant readiness, rapid response, and preparedness to face various emergency and crisis scenarios efficiently, professionally, and effectively.

Continued readiness
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management highlighted the high efficiency of the evacuation operations of the citizens and their companions and securing their safe return to the homeland; reflecting the utmost priority the country places on protecting its people and caring for them wherever they are, starting from the rapid response to current events, continuous monitoring, and coordination and communication with various state authorities, in addition to cooperating with the state's diplomatic missions abroad which played a pivotal role in direct communication with the local authorities concerned in the countries that witnessed the evacuations to coordinate the travel of nationals who were unable to return to the UAE due to current regional developments.

These flights also included a number of residents abroad who were unable to return to the country due to the closure of the airspace, within the framework of the humanitarian approach that the UAE adopts in caring for and supporting everyone living on its soil, as they are considered part of its social fabric and a responsibility and priority in various circumstances.

Avoiding rumors
In this context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call for the necessity of registering state nationals in the Twajudi service, as well as communicating in emergency and crisis situations via the emergency number dedicated to state nationals abroad +97180024, while the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management called for continued adherence to the guidance and instructions issued by the competent authorities, whether inside the country or abroad, and to obtain information exclusively from the official accredited channels, and to avoid circulating rumors or unreliable information.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management affirmed the continued full readiness of various state institutions to monitor regional developments and to take necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens and residents, within an integrated national system based on efficiency, coordination, and rapid response.
