Khaberni - The Jordanian Football Association has decided to appoint Moroccan coach Abdel Latif Grendo as the coach for the national under-23 team (the Olympic team), in preparation for upcoming commitments, notably the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
Grendo has extensive technical experience in coaching and holds a professional coaching certificate (CAF Pro) along with having earned A, B, C coaching licenses, a second-degree diploma in sports coaching from Germany, and a certificate in sports management.
Grendo had a distinguished career as a player, where he played for several clubs, most notably Raja Club Athletic in Morocco, with whom he won local and continental championships, including the CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup, and participated in the FIFA Club World Cup, in addition to having professional stints abroad in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
He also enjoys a rich artistic career in coaching, having managed many Moroccan clubs, up to the Moroccan national youth team under 17 years old, and he served as the director of the football school at Raja Casablanca.
