The president of Al-Hussein Irbid Club, Amer Abu Ubaid, issued a general threat in response to the cancellation of a goal for his team against Al-Wehdat in the match that Al-Hussein lost 1:3 to Al-Wehdat on Saturday night to Sunday.
Abu Ubaid said via his personal Facebook account: "This moment will not just pass; we are tired, it's not up to you to waste it".
He continued in his threat: "This is a clear and blatant conspiracy".
During the match, Al-Hussein team scored a goal, which the field referee counted, before the assistant referee intervened indicating that the goal came from the side net, leading to the cancellation of the goal.
Al-Hussein team lost to Al-Wehdat with a score of 1:3 in the match that took place between them as part of the 20th week of the Professional League matches, freezing Al-Hussein’s score at 40 points sharing the lead with Al-Faisaly, with two postponed matches remaining for Al-Hussein and one postponed match for Al-Faisaly, while Al-Wehdat raised their points to 37 from 20 matches.
