Khaberni - The Jordanian Football Association has decided to move the matches of the friendly international quadrangular tournament, March 2026 to be held in Antalya, Turkey, due to the current situation in the region and limited travel movement.
The quadrangular tournament takes place with the participation of the Nashama team alongside Iran, Nigeria, and Costa Rica, as part of the preparations for participating in the 2026 World Cup.
According to the tournament match schedule, the Nashama team plays its first match against Costa Rica on the evening of Friday, March 27, and on the same day Iran meets Nigeria.
The Nashama team meets Nigeria on the evening of Tuesday, March 31, and on the same day, Iran faces Costa Rica in their second match.
It is worth mentioning that the Nashama team will hold its final gathering before the World Cup finals in May and June, where they will meet Switzerland on the evening of Sunday, May 31, in the city of St. Gallen, before departing to the USA to face Colombia on the evening of Sunday, June 7, in San Diego, where they will settle in their official camp during the World Cup in Portland, USA.
The Nashama team is preparing for its first participation in the history of the World Cup, having been placed in Group 10 alongside teams from Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
