Khaberni - The Al-Maradh Municipality in Jerash Governorate has closed a street as a precautionary measure that connects the towns of Al-Kuteh, Al-Manshiya, and Al-Haddadeh, according to Mohammad Al-Ramadhaneh, the director of the Al-Kuteh area, on Saturday.
Al-Ramadhaneh told the "Al-Mamlaka" channel that the street which was closed is currently undergoing maintenance and expansion by the municipality after it experienced soil erosion, noting that the closure was to ensure the safety of the road users.
Al-Ramadhaneh added that the work on the street was carried out in several stages as part of the expansion and rehabilitation efforts, explaining that the rain showers caused landslides due to soil erosion.
He explained that the street is a vital road that connects Al-Kuteh, Al-Manshiya, and Al-Haddadeh, serving a number of residential neighborhoods, and helps alleviate traffic pressure on several streets in the area.
