Khaberni - Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on Saturday that the (Terrafab) project for manufacturing artificial intelligence chips will be launched within seven days.
Last year, Musk mentioned that Tesla would likely have to build a "massive chip plant" to manufacture artificial intelligence chips.
Tesla designs the fifth generation artificial intelligence chip to support its ambitions in autonomous driving, and Musk presented the possible manufacturing plans at the company's annual meeting last year.
At that time, Musk said the electric car manufacturer might collaborate with Intel, adding "we might do something with Intel."
He continued, "We haven’t signed any agreements, but it might be worth having discussions with Intel."
