The Spanish newspaper "El Mundo" has pointed out that Morocco wants to convince Pitarsh to represent the "Atlas Lions" since the player's roots go back to the Arab country, where his grandfather was born in the Moroccan city of Al Hoceima.
However, on the other hand, the player and his family prefer to represent the Spanish national team, similar to Lamine Yamal, the Barcelona star who preferred "La Roja" over the "Atlas Lions".
Pitarsh participated in 5 matches with Real Madrid, consisting of two in the Spanish league and three clashes in the Champions League over the current season.
