Khaberni - Amman Vision Company for Processing and Recycling has launched a media and advertising campaign through its social media pages to introduce the Greater Amman Municipality's special project on developing the waste management system and improving cleanliness in the capital, Amman.
The CEO of the company, Amjad Al-Anaswah, stated that the project represents an important step towards developing the waste management system in the capital and improving its urban landscape.
Al-Anaswah explained that the new waste containers will feature modern designs that are more suitable for use in residential neighborhoods and main streets, which will help organize the waste disposal process and reduce random dumping, in addition to supporting waste sorting and recycling efforts.
He mentioned that the project is part of a broader vision aimed at developing the waste management sector in Amman, noting that the company is seeking to introduce innovative solutions that enhance the use of waste and transform it into reusable resources, in line with global trends towards a circular economy and environmental sustainability.
He confirmed that the advertising campaign would include awareness messages directed at the residents of the capital, encouraging community participation in maintaining the city's cleanliness and promoting positive environmental behaviors, under a slogan that focuses on collaborative efforts for a more sustainable future.
It is expected that the company will reveal more details about the project and its implementation phases in the coming period, along with showcasing the new models of containers and plans for their distribution across different areas of the capital.
This project is part of the ongoing efforts of the Amman Municipality, in cooperation with the private sector, to develop municipal services and enhance environmental sustainability in the capital, contributing to improving the quality of life for the residents of Amman and establishing its status as a cleaner and more organized urban city.
The campaign includes promoting a fleet of advanced vehicles, including sophisticated waste compactors and street sweepers, as well as specialized vehicles for tunnel cleaning, washing, and sterilizing waste containers, in addition to logistical support and field monitoring vehicles. The system also involves introducing vehicles powered by electricity, as part of the shift towards environmentally friendly solutions that help reduce emissions and enhance sustainability in cleaning services in the capital.
This project follows the Amman Municipality committee's approval of the special agreement, which aims to enhance waste management efficiency in the city and develop mechanisms for its collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal according to the latest international environmental standards and practices.
