Khaberni - The Jordanian Armed Forces and the Public Security Directorate issued a statement today, Saturday, regarding the latest developments and figures related to the repercussions of the war in the region on the kingdom during the second week of its outbreak.
The Military Media Directorate of the Jordanian Armed Forces stated that 85 missiles and drones were directly launched from Iran towards the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, targeting vital locations.
It clarified that 79 missiles and drones were intercepted by the Royal Air Force, while the defenses failed to stop 5 drones and one missile, resulting in their falling inside the Jordanian territory.
The Military Media Directorate confirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces are continuing their duty in defending the homeland and protecting it from all attacks, and are working to mobilize all their efforts and maximum capacities to maintain the security of the kingdom and the safety of its citizens.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that the number of reports resulting from the fallout of missiles and drones handled by the Civil Defense and police reached 93, related to the falling of objects and shrapnel in most governorates during the past week.
He explained that the Civil Defense handled nine injuries resulting from the incidents that occurred during the past week, stating that the injured were transported for treatment and their general condition was moderate, having left the hospital after receiving the necessary treatment.
