Iranian Ambassador in Moscow Washington will face a severe response if it assassinates the new Supreme Leader

Khaberni - The Iranian ambassador in Moscow, Kazem Jalali, warned the United States of severe consequences if any attempt is made to assassinate the new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.
Jalali explained the possible reaction, saying: "We want revenge for our leader (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei). The people are angry and demand revenge for the bloodshed. Naturally, the Americans have faced and will face a harsh response in the future."

On February 28, the United States and Israel began bombing targets in Iran, including Tehran, amid reports of destruction and civilian casualties. Iran, in turn, is conducting retaliatory strikes on Israeli territory, as well as American military targets in the Middle East.

On the first day of the attack, the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was assassinated. On March 8, his son, Mojtaba, was appointed as his successor.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that "Mojtaba Khamenei, who was appointed as the successor to his father Ali Khamenei as the Supreme Leader of Iran, was injured in his legs in the initial US-Israeli strike on Iran on February 28 at the Khamenei family compound, where his father, wife, and son were killed."

The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that the new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, was wounded, and that his health condition is good.
