Trump Iran Wants to Make a Deal but I Dont Agree

Khaberni -  U.S. President Donald Trump said Iran is "totally defeated and wants to make a deal" but he will not agree to it, following two weeks since the war started in the region.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Friday-Saturday night, "The media that spreads fake news hates to talk about the great results the U.S. military has achieved against Iran, which is totally defeated and wants to make a deal, but it won’t be a deal I will agree with!" without providing further details.

On Friday evening, Trump said that the U.S. military "completely destroyed" military targets on Kharg Island, the main outlet for Tehran’s crude oil exports, and threatened to strike its oil infrastructure if it obstructed freedom of navigation in the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, the Iranian military threatened to turn the oil infrastructure related to Washington "into ashes" in case of an attack on Kharg.

Trump stated on his Truth Social platform, "I chose not to destroy the oil infrastructure on the island, but if Iran, or any other party, does anything that impedes the freedom and safety of ship passage through the Strait of Hormuz, I will reconsider the matter immediately." Trump also announced that the U.S. military "carried out one of the strongest air strikes in the history of the Middle East, completely destroying every military target on the crown jewel of Iran, Kharg Island."

Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned on Thursday that Tehran "will abandon all restraint" if the United States and Israel attack any of its islands in the Gulf. This island, located about 30 kilometers off the Iranian mainland, handles about 90% of Iranian crude oil exports, according to a recent memo from "J.P. Morgan".
