Khaberni - The Turkish Defense Ministry announced on Friday the downing of an Iranian ballistic missile in Turkish airspace by NATO air and missile defense systems, marking the third such incident in just over a week.
A statement from the ministry said, "A ballistic munition launched from Iran and entered Turkish airspace was neutralised by NATO's air and missile defense systems stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean."
