Khaberni - Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong said on Friday that Australia has requested its non-essential officials working in Lebanon to leave the country due to the "deterioration of the security situation" in the region.
She added that a limited number of officials will remain in Lebanon to provide consular support to Australians.
