Khaberni - The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced that its Cyber Crime Unit, affiliated with the General Directorate for Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, has successfully monitored and arrested six individuals, including Ahmed Mirza Musa, a player for the Bahrain football national team.
The Ministry clarified that the suspects filmed and published video clips on their social media accounts related to what they described as "Iranian aggression", showing sympathy for it and glorifying its hostile actions. The authorities considered this as potentially misleading public opinion and inciting fear among citizens and residents, in addition to damaging security and public order in the country.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the necessary legal measures have been taken against the accused, and they have been referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office to complete the investigations and take the necessary actions as per the law.
