Alarm Sirens Sound at NATOs Incirlik Air Base in Southern Turkey

Khaberni - Alarm sirens rang out at the Turkish Incirlik Air Base, a major facility belonging to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), where US forces are stationed near the city of Adana in southeastern Turkey, according to Turkey's state-owned Anadolu News Agency early Friday morning.

No official comment has been issued yet on the incident that occurred four days after NATO air defenses shot down a ballistic missile launched from Iran in Turkish airspace, the second within five days.

Since Saturday, February 28, Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran, which resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and since then, Tehran has been retaliating by striking Israel and countries in the region with missiles and drones.
