Winds are southwesterly moderate in speed and increase periodically, especially in the desert regions, stirring up dust.
The Meteorological Department warns in its report of the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas late at night in the north and center of the kingdom, and the danger of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust in many areas, especially in the desert regions, and the risk of thunderstorms and hail, urging necessary precautions for respiratory system patients, and caution against slipping on roads experiencing rainfall.
The unstable weather conditions will remain on Saturday, with the skies partly to fully cloudy, and rain showers occurring intermittently in various parts of the kingdom, sometimes heavy in the north and center accompanied by thunder and hail, and winds are from the southeast to southwest active and stir up dust, especially in the desert areas.
On Sunday, the kingdom will be affected by a relatively cold and humid air mass accompanying a low-pressure system, leading to a noticeable drop in temperatures with partly cloudy skies, and rains are expected early in the morning occasionally in the north and center of the kingdom, and limited parts of the southwestern and northeastern regions, with westward active winds occasionally providing strong gusts.
On Monday, the weather will be cold in the high mountainous elevations, relatively cold in the desert and plains, and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low clouds present in the north and center of the kingdom, and light rain showers expected early in the morning in parts of the northern and central regions, with westerly winds moderate in speed that sometimes intensify.
The maximum and minimum temperatures in east Amman today range between 20 - 10 degrees Celsius, in west Amman 18 - 8, in the northern highlands 17 - 9, in the Sharah highlands 16 - 7, in the desert regions 22 - 10, in the plains areas 20 - 10, in the northern Jordan Valley 28 - 15, in the southern Jordan Valley 28 - 16, in the Dead Sea 28 - 17, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 29 - 18 degrees Celsius.
